Enjoy a Friday Night out with a visit to Antequera, a city in Andalusia, oozing with history, culture and rich in natural resources. Boasting architecture, Moorish Castle, Gothic Churches, Renaissance Fountains and Baroque Bell Towers. There are 26 churches in Antequera, each with its own history and character Known for its ancient burial mounds: The Dolmens, a UNESCO world heritage site, offering 3 ancient megalithic monuments and an information centre. The Alcazaba of Antequera is a centuries-old Moorish fortress.
Antequera known as “the heart of Andalusia” because of its central location among Malaga, Granada, Cordoba & Seville.
Tonight is the start of Antequera Light Festival, with several displays taking place around the town.
