Estepa, also known as The City of Mantecados, smells like a cake factory in the run up to Christmas, as bakers work to meet the demand for the polvorones and mantecados, the rich, crumbly, shortbread cookies, individually wrapped and seen throughout Andalucia in the months leading up to Christmas.
