Visiting the popular Patio Party in Cordoba. These have now been rescheduled for October. For Two weeks every May the Cordobians open their patios to visitors. This tradition was founded in 1918 but interrupted during the Spanish Civil War, it then re-emerged in the ’50’s. However this year due to COVID19 these have been rescheduled for October.
Around 50 patios will open in October for visitors, sadly there aren’t any prizes for the winners, but we as travellers don’t miss out on these magnificent, splendid and beautiful patios.
Located on the old town, not only will you admire the flowers, aromatic plants and sweet fragrances but you will be able to appreciate the architecture of the day. The patios are open 11 am – 2.pm and then again from 6 pm.
