Free time to enjoy this historical city.  Cordoba was an important Roman City and a major Islamic center in the Middle Ages.  Famous for its Mezquita, an immense Mosque dating from 784 A.D,  featuring a columned prayer hall and older Byzantine mosaics.  It became a Catholic Church in 1236 and during the 17th Century a Renaissance style nave was added. A visit here is  a must  11€ entrance (not included in the price)

Also to see is The Viana Palace , which offers free entrance on a Wednesday between 2 and 5pm,  decalared a “National Artistic Historic Monument and Artistic Garden” in 1981

There are also 2 patios which are free to visit , These are Patios No 20 & No 44 on C/ San Basilio, they are open 10.30 till 2.00pm
