Teba, a town worthy of a visit anytime,  situated 15 km north of Ardeles and The Lakes.  Steeped in history with a very unusual and historical link to Scotland and twinned with the Scottish town of Melrose.  Every August since 2005 Teba celebrates Douglas Day recalling the death in 1330 of the soldier Sir James Douglas.  He carried  the heart of King Robert the Bruce and was killed in the reconquest of the Castle of The Star.

In Plaza de Espana sits a very large Granite monument.  Carried from Scotland and dedicated to the memory of Robert the Bruce, King of Scots, and his Lieutenant Sir James Douglas.

Every October Teba  celebrates its   Artesanal Cheese Festival,  as well as cheese there are dairy products, local produce,  honey, oil and whiskey.

Bars and Restaurants are plentiful in this town
