The village of Teba, located in the Guadalhorce-Guadalteba region, hosts its Scottish Festival, transporting visitors back to the Middle Ages during the time of Sir James Douglas. The festival features a street market, cultural activities, performances, and food tastings.

The town honours Sir James Douglas, who fought and died in the Battle of Teba in 1330 while en route to the Holy Land with the embalmed heart of Robert the Bruce.
